The MIA-Sunway TES Accounting Quiz (AQ) is jointly organised by TheMalaysian Institute of Accountants (“MIA”) together with Sunway TESCentre For Accountancy Excellence (“Sunway TES CAE”). Thiscompetition is supported by the Ministry of Education Malaysia(MOE). The competition which was first held in 2013, is organisedwith an objective to provide exposure and garner the interest ofstudents to learn and gain knowledge about the accounting field andthe accountancy profession. More than a quarter million ringgit(> RM 250,000) in scholarships and cash prizes are available. Itis open to all Form 4 and Form 5 students who would like to enhancetheir knowledge in accounting, commerce and business and currentlystudying at secondary schools all over Malaysia including NationalSecondary Schools, Full Residential Schools, National ReligiousSchools, National Secondary Chinese Schools; all of which are underthe Ministry of Education, MARA Junior Science Colleges, RoyalMilitary College and Private Schools.
